KANNADASAN JAGANATHAN ("we", "our", or "us") built the MoneyMonitor app as a free application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

Information Collection and Use

Authentication Information

When you sign in with Google, we use Firebase Authentication (provided by Google) to verify your identity. This service receives:

• Your Google account email address
• Your Google account name
• Your Google profile picture

This information is used solely for authentication and is managed by Firebase Authentication. We do not sell or share this information with third parties.

Financial Data

MoneyMonitor does not collect, access, or transmit your financial data. All your expense records, amounts, budgets, and categories are stored locally on your device only.

• We do not collect or store expense data on external servers
• We do not collect usage statistics
• We do not use analytics services to track app usage
• We do not use advertising networks

Data Storage

All expense data, categories, budgets, accounts, and settings you create within the app are stored locally on your device only. This includes:

• Expense records and amounts
• Category information
• Budget configurations
• Account balances (bank, cash, cards)
• Recurring expense settings
• App preferences and settings

This data is never transmitted to any external servers or third parties.

Firebase Services

We use the following Firebase services:

• Firebase Authentication - For secure Google Sign-In only

Firebase Authentication collects and stores your authentication information (email, name, profile picture) in accordance with Firebase Privacy Policy.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security features. We recommend:

• Using a device lock (PIN, pattern, or biometric)
• Keeping your device's operating system updated
• Backing up your device regularly

Third-Party Services

MoneyMonitor uses the following third-party service:

• Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) - For secure Google Sign-In. See Firebase Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.

Your expense data and financial information are not shared with any third-party services. Only authentication information (email, name, profile picture) is processed by Firebase Authentication.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. Since our app collects no data at all, this is not a concern.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your Rights

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it:

• Access: View all your data within the app
• Deletion: Delete data through the app or by uninstalling
• Portability: Your data exists only on your device
